Jonathon Moyle. BScPT (Canada), Dip Phys (NZ)

Jonathon graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 and brings more than 20 years of elite-level physiotherapy experience. He has served as Head Physiotherapist for the Blues, Warriors, Kiwis, and multiple Japan Rugby premier league teams, as well as for Athletics New Zealand at World Championships.

A former high-performance athlete himself, Jonathon represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games and World Championships in athletics and also competed for the New Zealand Bobsled Team. This dual background as athlete and physiotherapist gives him a unique and practical insight into injury management and performance.

Jonathon provides hands-on manual therapy combined with tailored, progressive rehabilitation programmes to support effective return to sport, work, and everyday activity.

Scott Barnes, BHSc (Physiotherapy)

Scott graduated in 2002 and brings more than 20 years of experience in private practice across New Zealand and the UK. He has worked closely with rugby league, football, and cricket teams, and is himself a keen runner and orienteer — experience that strengthens his understanding of athletic performance and injury recovery.

Scott has a particular interest in sports injuries, low back and neck pain (including nerve-referred pain), and post-operative rehabilitation. His treatment approach is multi-faceted and hands-on, incorporating manual therapy, joint mobilisation, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques, biomechanical corrections, neurodynamic offloading and individually targeted exercise programmes.

By combining precise manual therapy with progressive exercise rehabilitation, Scott tailors each plan to support a safe, confident, and lasting return to activity, work, and daily life.
